How the candidates rank on the internet

Presidential Candidate

For all those that follow the Presidential race, whether for profit, fun or desire to pick the right candidate there is something you may want to see. There is a website that is providing, free of charge, weekly updates on several online aspects of the election race.

This is not a Rasmussen styled report. Rather this is a direct to the facts, easily read grouping of statistics. If you want to know the latest most searched term for presidential candidates, or which site is the most popular, this is where you can go. I’ve checked it out and found it quite interesting.

With just a casual review I see that currently, Senator Obama dominates the internet. Above all other candidates, regardless of political party. It seems to be a bit surprising when reports from various other sources either show him tied with Senator Clinton or statistically close. Yet this data set shows another story. Could this mean that all the pundits and political strategists have no idea what is going on with the usually unseen youth voter group?

We shall see what the effect of the internet and bloggers will have on the next election. Somehow, no matter who wins, I think that all the future political races will be using the internet more than any other media source. Our reach is to far and too strong to be ignored.
